Who We Are
Established in 1979,
the Oregon Alliance of Senior & Health Services is the state
association of not-for-profit, mission-directed organizations dedicated
to providing quality housing, health, community and related services
to the elderly and disabled. Alliance members set the standards
for the field through service excellence and mission-driven objectives.
Alliance member organizations embrace values that emphasize individual
dignity, self-respect, personal independence and a supportive environment
for the elders they serve.
Proprietary facilities and organizations that share our mission
and values are welcome as Associate Provider members.
Our current membership profile includes:
- Government subsidized senior housing
- Market rate senior housing
- Assisted living communities
- Residential care communities
- Community-based services (i.e., home care, adult day care)
- Continuing care retirement communities
- Nursing homes
Our members serve more than 13,000 older Oregonians with a commitment
to meet their total needs: social, physical, emotional, spiritual
and environmental.
The Alliance is the Oregon state affiliate of the American Association
of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA).
Non-profit providers who join the Alliance also become members of
AAHSA. |
