2013 LeadingAge Oregon Award Nominations Now Open

Please help us recognize the tireless and dedicated staff who are so devoted to making Oregon a better place to grow old!

We hope that each of our member organizations will consider submitting nominations for the LeadingAge Oregon awards that provide such inspiration at our Annual Conference.

Unsung Hero Award

The Unsung Hero Award is presented to one individual who continually exemplifies service and dedication in his/her profession in a non-resident care capacity.

Caring Spirit Award

The Caring Spirit Award is presented to one individual who continually exemplifies service and dedication in his/her profession within direct resident care.

Innovative Program of the Year

The Innovative Program of the Year Award is presented to one LeadingAge Oregon member organization that has developed the most creative and innovative programming to benefit elders.

Winners of the awards described above will receive:

• Crystal commemorative award
• Recognition at Tuesday May 21, 2013 Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon at Eagle Crest Resort
• Unsung Hero and Caring Spirit winners receive complimentary Annual Conference registrations

Silver Star Awards

Silver Star Awards are non-competitive and are presented to any individual who has not already received a Silver Star and has worked at a LeadingAge Oregon member organization for 25 years or more.

Silver Stars receive:

• A commemorative LeadingAge Oregon Silver Star award
• Recognition at the Tuesday, May 21 2013 Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon at Eagle Crest Resort
• Complimentary conference registration on the day of the Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon, or a $50 discount off full conference registration.
